Marshfield Teen From Viral Wisdom Teeth Surgery Video Got A Wonderful Surprise From Ellen DeGeneres

Needing to get your wisdom teeth removed is a painful process that will have you begging for a heroic dose of anesthesia.

The downside of anesthesia is that it makes you say and do really embarrassing things. Also, you won’t remember them.

For one Marshfield teen however, getting her wisdom teeth removed turned out to be a blessing in disguise, because of Ellen DeGeneres.

Instead of spilling her darkest secrets, she confirmed she’s obsessed with Ellen (like all of us).

Emily Aldridge, 16, still loopy from anesthesia given to her for the surgery, kept asking her mom, Jennifer Aldridge, about the famous talk show host.

“Was Ellen there?” asked Emily Aldridge in the video.

“Ellen who?” her mother replied.
“Ellen DeGeneres, Mom!” Emily Aldridge cried.
“Why would Ellen DeGeneres be at your oral surgery appointment?” Jennifer Aldridge asked.

Emily Aldridge replied in the video that DeGeneres should “at least support me.”

Good thing Emily’s mom recorded and uploaded the video to the Internet, because it went viral.

The viral video reached Ellen, so the mother-daughter duo were invited to appear on the hit talk show.

Emily has music superstar Bruno Mars to thank for this incredible opportunity, because Ellen revealed that he was the one that put the viral video on her radar.

Things got better for Emily, because she also got free stuff.

The show concluded with Emily receiving a cardboard cutout of Ellen that can recite messages. The family also got a trip to Cancun, so Ellen really must have really loved that video.
